I have just had my socks knocked off by the Power Thrash article in the August issue of Muscle and Fitness. I would love to take my training to a higher functional level.
I am a college basketball player who has used your programs before. I have completed the BIG FUN program three times now and beginning on June 12th will try the TREMENDOUS PLEASURE program.
I am a rugby player, and finally found a six week block to try your Big Fun workout you published in Muscle and Fitness. WOW!! If you told me six weeks ago that I would rack 225lbs and Jump Squat it for 6 reps I would have slapped you. My 40yd time went from 5.1 to 4.8. I increase my 1rm for squat 405 to 425 and flat bench 275 to 315!! At first, I performed jump squats with only 95lbs, but as I learned the exercise, I was able to push much higher.
I am a member on a city championship football team, we trained with your program "Big Fun" and were very pleased with the noticeable results. I am starting your big fun program today, and the first workout was great. I love it. I have always wanted to train in this way. I have recently started boxing and I really love it. I am having a little trouble finding a conditioning program that suites a boxer though. I am looking for a program that is going to help me pack on the muscle mass and at the same time keep me trim through the waist. I am writing you because I know of your reputation as a sports conditioning coach.
I just read your outstanding article in Muscle and Fitness titled, "Power Thrash"-"Tremendous Pleasure". I was extremely impressed with the extensive use of explosive movement exercises I accessed your site and was intrigued by your Barbell/Dumbbell Complexes I can't tell you how impressed I have been with this incredible workout.I have never challenged myself like this before and have never had such great results.I love the way the workouts attack the weakest link in the kinetic chain and force that area to come up to par. Hello! My name is Vladimir. I am from Russia. Recently I read you article in Russian publishing "Muscle and Fitness". It's very interesting I want to thank you first for your article in Aug M&F magazine. I have been doing the workout for the past 3 weeks with great results. I'm 18 years old from MOROCCO. I love basketball, but even if I play it, I can't jump higher. I knew that you're a great specialist of some programs. I have been on the Power Thrash for three weeks now, and it has helped my athletic performance a great deal. As a professional wrestler, the workout is superb for explosiveness and conditioning. I read with great fascination your Power Thrash article in the August 2000 issue of Muscle and Fitness. As a professional lacrosse player I am always seeking a competitive advantage… I am professional basketball player in Europe. I had a chance to see and to experience your Tremendous Pleasure program, which was published in Muscle & Fitness I think that is great thing even for me as a basketball player, it really worked me out. I was impressed with your article in the recent Muscle & Fitness magazine. As usual it looked like a great workout if you can survive. I'm very glad that I found your web page because your "Power Thrash" program in this blew me away.
I can't tell you how impressed I have been with this incredible workout. I have never challenged myself like this before and have never had such great results. I love the way the workouts attack the weakest link in the kinetic chain and force that area to come up to par. I absolutely loved the Power Thrash (Tremendous Pleasure) program in the August 2000 edition of Muscle & Fitness. My training partner and I will be finishing up our second run at it in a few weeks. Mr. O'Connell, thanks for finding such a great program and publishing it for us M&F readers. And Mr. Javorek, I can't thank you enough for sharing the World's most intense, motivational, result producing, structured, flexible, flawless, physically punishing, mentally pleasing workout ever!!! I now know why both, "Power Thrash" and "Tremendous Pleasure" are suitable names for such a program. |
